    Hello, I have a guitar Jackson RR 1991 lightning sky, with a modified electronic part, I want to restore everything to its original state, please help, I need pictures inside the control cavity,


    what pickups was in the original condition, J-50B, J-50N and JE-1200?

    There is no real way to know what was original on anything made in the USA. But your 2 guesses are a good guess for what would have been considered standard.

        mine came with two j-80c's and a j-1200. it gets pretty hot with the eq control.

          Is an original equipment? What year of guitar?

            hi Zango. yeah, that was what it came with from the factory and it's a early 91 midnight black RR. For years I assumed that it was two J-50s until I dug further. The JE-1200 was doubleside taped to the lower side of the control cavity. I'd have to draw the location for you. i I removed the JE-1200 and installed 500k pots awhile ago to see how it did.

            On a side note I tried a vintage Super Distortion in the guitar and it sounded horrible. I never heard one sound as bad.
