I can tell you that they play great. if it has the wrap around bridge, the saddles are not adjustable, but it doesn't matter because the intonation is really good.

I have an SE CU24 and a Bernie Marsden - both are stock except for pickups. I have a JB/Alnico II in the CU24 and Classic 57s in the Marsden. I don't like PRS' pickups, even in the SEs.

I think it might have an adjustment to move the bridge forward and back a little. I believe these necks are wide thin. I think they are more wizard thinness(not wizard II). fretboards are the Jackson width. singlecuts are usually wide fat. but not Tremonti's.

From the research I found, this one "Tremonti SE" with the wraparound stoptail has the wide/fat neck and the newer "SE Custom" with the tremolo has the wide/thin neck...?? This is the one I'm looking at trading for. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guita...70031000001000
BTW - now looking at trading my ESP/LTD M300FM for it..

I was worried about the non-adjustable saddles but seems mostly people have no problem with it. But a decent replacement is $100+ so I'll be checking that when I meet up to see it.

Never had a problem with any of the SE's I have had intonation was spot on.
Necks tend to be wide and chunky from my experience I have had 6 and they all were like that.

SE's are well worth the money IMO.
I have had 2 USA PRS's one bolt on and one set neck and the SE's played just as good.
The McCarty I had was pretty but a dead hunk of wood IMO.I changed the electronics and pick ups and that didn't help at all.
The CE 22 I had was killer in every respect but was banged up pretty bad (headstock break)when I got it.
Fixed the break and it was fine.

Haven't done anything yet except make sure it plays but I did the trade. Holy shit this thing is lightweight! Neck feels comfy, not thick but not thin. And the pickups are pretty boomy and blah.. Figured that in when I decided on the trade. I'll restring and give it a good setup later tonight. Thanks for the info gents!

I put RSguitarworks pot kits in all of the ones I had and the stock pick ups sounded good after the upgrade.
One I put DiMarzio PAF's in and it sounded awesome.
Had RSguitarworks put a graphic on it.Thats not dust you see on it it had silver dust in the clear coat.

I checked the intonation and it's right on so no issue there.. The nut is a piece of crap but I happened to have an extra black Tusq direct replacement for the SE's that I had for one of my Ibanez RGT's. I pulled the back cover and lo and behold, Someone messed with the wiring.. There's a fuckin' surprise (in my best Joe Pesci "My Cousin Vinny" voice). The bridge tone is disconnected and the wires had some cloth tape but wires open to buzz away.. Just taped them off and buzz gone and the bridge sounds decent. Medium output, very evenly EQ'd (as in not overly bassy, middy, or trebly), not real muddy, and somewhat transparent. Pretty good for AC/DC type stuff. Neck pup is pretty bassy and muffled. But I don't use neck much. I'll see how it goes before I think about a swap. This guitar is over 2# lighter than my Soloist PRO but has decent tone so far so all in all, I'm happy with it as of now.

RS pot kits are the way to go IMO
On the dragon themed SE I wired it for two vol no tone for shit s a giggles to see how it sounded.
It sounded great with the bridge on 8 and the neck on 6 running both pick ups. Nice and fat/full sounding.
Switching to the neck pick up it was very very smooth,switch to the bridge it had fatness with some snarl.
Never had to mess with volume controls to get the tones I needed.

Are those the "G&B Pick Up Co." pickups in the dragon themed one?
