So I had no plans today and was feeling a little masochistic so I stopped into my local Guitar Center to check out what they had for used equipment. As fortune would have it they had a used Soldano Hot Rod 50 for a just over a grand. I decided to check it out since owning a Soldano as always be a dream of mine and that seemed a good price. Well I ended up deciding that it belong home with me more than it should be sitting around Guitar Center.

Is there any way I can get any more information on the head? If I emailed the serial number to Soldano could they tell me when it was built and if it had any mods?

As I was digging for more information on the old Hot Rods, I found out my amp has to be pre-2002/2003 by the serial number. On another forum a guy had one that the serial number was 250 more than mine (-170x). I have to say for being over 10 years old the amp looks brand new only issue is the the indicator light bulb is burnt out.
