Mid 90's Ampeg Reverberocket R50H Head. Purple Soldano 4 x 12 straight cab. I got the 1/2 stack for $950.
Wondering if anybody owns or has ever played through one of these amps. I bought the 1/2 stack for the Soldano cab. Its a really nice one and I just had to have it to add to my amp wall of doom.
I have been reading reviews on the amp and it seems that everybody that has one or has heard one loves it. Its supposed to be a medium gain amp that has a combination Marshall/Fender type old school crunch channel, an outstanding clean channel, fantastic reverb and it takes pedals very well.
I haven't found anything regarding the build quality and I haven't taken it apart yet but it appears to be very well made.
There is very little activity selling on these amps so I had to take a wild guess of what its worth.
Amp was $400
Soldano cab was $550 which is pricey used but I think it was around $1300+ brand new. That's just insane.
Of course.. the Soldano cab sounds great.
Anyway.. anybody?
