  • I'm going to buy a Bogner Uberschall or maybe a twin jet and need your help fellas!

Best reliable music store to deal with for such an amp would be? I may purchase the Twin Jet too. Is Matts Music reliable?

Yes! If you order one, you will get exactly what you order.

"I leave off the back plate and pinch my forskin between the tension springs. That may not work for everyone. But I find that the people love it. Half the tone is in the pud." - Bill Z

Yes, Matt's Music! I've bought quite a few things from Matt ranging from guitars to pedals to my amps and even one of my Uberkabs from him. Always takes care of me. You can't go wrong with an Uberschall I do like the Revision Blue as well as Revision 2 better than the Twin Jet Btw.

+1 for Matt. I've bought a couple Jackson customs from him...

        Whom horns careless
        And whom God mourns

Matt's Music isn't all that great. When I was ordering my Suhr they were not really all that competitive price wise. I ended up placing my order with another dealer that wasn't as greedy for profit as Matts. Just my 2 cents

I ordered the Twin Jet from Matts Music and talked to a guy named Jay. He was super cool and answered all my questions. Got it in red too with a metal grill up front. 150w with KT88's.

What are the revisions? I know next to nothing about the Bogners other than their tone. Are there multiple versions of the Uberschall?

I figured I'd pay a premium for the Twin.

Matt's music iss killer. Even with the problems with the manufacturer, he really took care of me and made sure that issues where handled.

The various revisions of the Uber involve changes to the gain taper pot as well as addition of a loop volume knob on the back. There was also a change to the carry handle on top of the amp early on. The Twin Jet has the changes to the clean channel. These all used to be on Bogner's website. Many feel the Revision 2 is the more aggressive sounding, I like it and the Revision Blue. The Twin Jet with KT88's is supposed to be pretty aggressive sounding too. I've never played the TJ with KT88's. Congrats on ordering yours, there is no such thing as a bad Bogner! You will love it!

Just saying that in my experience and knowing Matt's reputation on here, while you may have paid a lil more than some bargain basemnt place, Matt would stand behind the product AND you know that he'll be there next time you need something. Top notch, reliable service is worth paying a lil extra for.

^Right on. Price is indeed an important part of a purchase, but not everything. That "greedy for profit" comment 87jackson made was rather obnoxious/unnecessary.

I would also point out that when I bought from Matt, on multiple occasions, his pricing was comparable to others AND he offered free shipping. And yes, he does stand by you when there is an issue. My first Marshall Randy Rhoads full stack had a couple issues. The head was defective right out of the box, Matt got them to send me a new one. One of the cabs had shipping damage to the white tolex, due to Marshall's crappy way of boxing them, and he got me another cab. That one arrived damaged too and he got me yet another cab which was fine. I will continue to buy from Matt and Jay). Besides, they're cool to talk with at NAMM when I run into them

$250 but they can no longer offer the metal grill on the front of the amp since the guy who used to do that no longer works for Bogner. Even though this isn't a Twin Jet this color is what I'll be getting...

                            Imagine that color on this.....

I don't mind paying good money for great customer service and top end gear. It's the American way!

I also ordered a new Head Shell for my Splawn Nitro in purple with Z28 racing stripes direct from Splawn and a new 2x12 with small blocks, again in purple, it should go perfectly with my Splawn effects rack which is now totally full!

I also switched up my Mesa Boogie Mini Req. 25 and blacked it out!

                            From this...
