That's a sick guitar, I really like the painted neck on it.

Yeah, that's a great looking guitar! I find it somewhat crazy when people in europe don't buy from the US though..

Not impressed with that pair. I mean, it's cool that they put out these product videos. But they're constantly making snarky disparaging remarks about "80s guitars", shred and metal playing. Basically, anything other than a Fender, Gibson or PRS. I mean, if you're going to sell products, why the heck would you put down or insult a whole class of products and buyers like that?

I hear ya, I felt the same way. Also less lame jokes and more demo of the gear. Maybe try it with a clean channel or with different amps, not every jackson is played through a marshall. I understand their trying to keep it interesting but its to much yapping...my opinion anyways.

Also what's the deal with only a couple of seconds of riffs? Some more riffs for us nonshredders would be nice

I think the only British comedy I liked was Benny Hill....and it wasn't for the jokes...lol

How much time to waste do you guys have? I skipped through it to check out the guitar, why the hell would you listen to it? All you're gonna get is a lame demo, or you'll listen to someone talking about a guitar you (assuming some Jackson interest given you're on the JCF) already know more about than they do..

But, making an assumption on the content based on the posts above: They're Brits (like me), therefore, they're gonna take the piss, it's what we do now the empire has gone

Nothing against Brits, just me not caring for their comedy. I actually did enjoy the Benny Hill Show, I do skip over some of the bs but I hate doing that because sometimes I feel like I might miss out on something. I've seen a lot of there videos and some are pretty long...yeah I do have time to waste.

I also liked the guitar. I did catch the part where they said it could be built in three to six months. How is this possible? I've read some post where custom shop guitars are generally two years or more.

Custom Select is a mid-range limited custom line. They're built faster, like USA Select production guitars. Not Master built one-off full custom shop guitars. Expect 6 to 8 months or so.

And I love British humor. Benny Hill, Monty Python, etc. Great stuff. But the "jokes" by this pair clearly have an undercurrent of true distaste for certain brands and styles of music. Pretty narrow minded IMHO, and very poor salesmanship. They betray their true feelings on these topics, and make it pretty obvious.

Honestly didn't get the idea they didn't like shredding or the Jackson brand to be honest. I watch a lot of Chappers youtube vids and he has a weird personality but can play what ever he wants so he's a good guy to get to do demos.
