  • Anyone Have one of these??

I have always loved these dinky's, I know most would say dk1, but it's not. Exotic Player's Choice just has a special vibe, I wish Jackson would make these again. BTW this is NOT mine, I wish.

Loving the offset dot inlays, the quilted top, and the matching headstock.

It exactly like my Fusion but with a quilt top and 25.5 scale.

        Sweet finish!!!
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

Those are very nice looking. I had a Charvel SDIV which was pretty close to that, albeit unbound board with regular dots, and the strat-ish head..
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Gorgeous top on that. Pretty hard to photograph trans red on quilt. The bound body is very classy, too.

That guitar shows exactly what is missing on Jackson guitars............ figured top WITH white binding. Love it.

I know, right. These have everything you could want, like an arch top soloist, but it's a bolt on. Why are the arch tops so popular, and these never made it anywhere? Go figure.

I have a bunch of pics of this one, here they are. Can you tell I wish this was mine!! Good porn anyway, even if it's not mine.

I can also see it was an Ontario build, I hope someone else has one and can add to this. I know somebody out there has one. These are just like the Charvel San Dimas IV but without the undesirable features, smurfhead, no binding, etc, those are killer guitars though, I just like these better of course because THEY"RE AREN'T ANY.

IMO this is how a Jackson should be. Limit the crappier models, and return to your roots... Jackson. I hate what Fender is doing to the guitar world. Fender and Jackson shouldn't be allowed in the same sentence. Pretty soon there will be guitars made out of plastic or synthetic wood. It is what is though, no use whining, someone can post the horse being beat now. lol

That is a VERY rare and elusive model. In the Mid-90's, Jackson stepped up their game with some exotic models in a limited run capacity. (Maybe CS orders were down?)
You could order a few different PCS models (Flamed Dinky, Exotic Dinky and the Collen model) All VERY low numbers Click here for link: http://audiozone.dk/guitargallery/?c...4-95Page22.jpg

From my observations, the '94-'95 Flame top DK-1 models, PCS Dinky AND the USA Charvel "San Dimas" models from the same years are all very similar.

The main differences being the DK-1 was a basswood body/flame top.

The 1995 USA Charvel Reissue San Dimas IV model is IDENTICAL to the PCS Dinky..Click here for link: http://audiozone.dk/guitargallery/?c...SanDimas06.jpg

All-in-all, the PCS is BY FAR the rarest of the 3 followed by the Charvel. (In '96 they switched to a Mahogany body/quilt)

jacksonluvr, don't you have one of the flame maple PCS? I hadn't seen one until you posted yours a while back.

                            Very cool line.
