  • Gotoh SG360 tuners = SG36 tuners?

I don't see many references to SG36 tuners around anymore, but SG360's are listed up on Gotoh's site:

    http://www.g-gotoh.com/international/?btp_product=sg360

Are these identical to the SG36's? In other words, are these drop-in replacements for the J/C 90 degree / 3 o'clock SD era tuners?

If so, which is the correct button option for those original mini Schaller style buttons? AB07 (aluminum)? 07 (zinc)?

They are a drop in replacement I beleive. I had a set on an Ibanez prestige and they were identical other than logoing.

The SG360 is a replacement for the SG36.
The correct tuner button is the mini Schaller style. Zinc is more the common button option as the body of the tuner is made of zinc as well.

The SG381 is what Jackson uses on pretty much all of their production guitars.
