  • Can we see some PC1's please?

Out of the whole Jackson line, though I love all of them (atleast in theory, in reality I own a DK2M & a DKMGT, Japan made), the PC 1 is THE ONE. It is just so beautiful to look at, dream specs, and from youtube clips, sounds awesome. I just wish it wasn't THAT expensive!!! I wish someday I'll have enough money to buy one of those. Meanwhile I'll have to be happy just by looking at them - so can you please post some photos of this beauty if you are a lucky owner so I can oggle and drooooooool at it? please?

    Sure thing!

I'll post a link to my favorite shot... You can really see the quality in the top. The pic is too big to put here.

oooooooooooooooooohh woooow man! what a beauty!!! orgasmic is the word!! this finish is the AU NATURAL one right? Its awesome!!! I also love the SOLAR finish. If I ever get one, that'll be the one I'll get.

How does this play? Do you even play it or just leave it in a vacuumed, pressure controlled, high security chamber??? . Please post a mp3 clip!!

I am shocked no one has posted one of these yet. There are 10 of them. One of my favorites. Just a great sounding and playing guitar.

Love those flamejob PC1s. Just all-around classy.

Mine also is from a limited run. As compared to current production PC1s, these were specially done "old school" like the original series, but with the current strathead necks. Hand picked, highly-figured quilt tops with analine dye in original-style "vintage chlorine" and "vintage solar" finishes. Only a few were made. My pics are pretty lame, and do not do this guitar justice.

Are there any other guitars even worth owning or playing besides the PC1's?

              from left to right.....

Mega rare 1997 Koa body Solar
              1997 Chlorine
              1998 Au Natural
and last but not least rare "four digit" Solar with mega huge neck.

they are all strung to pitch with GHS Boomers (12-52) save for the thick neck Solar that is strung with 13-56 and tuned down 1/2 step.

                Oh...and I almost forgot my latest PC1.

This 1998 Euphoria was originally owned by a fellow JCF member and then it made its way to a fellow on ebay.

I was watching that very auction but through various other distractions (xmas, house hunting) I let it slip away.

The fellow posted here after winning it and for whatever reasons was not a huge fan of the PC1 so I PM'd him and we struck a deal.

$1100 plus shipping if i do recall.

Our two little girls love this one the most. They are convinced that it is a Hannah Montanna guitar! yuck!

And no I do not own any other electric guitars other than these PC1's. I have owned something in the region of 50 guitars in the last 25 years but these are the only real "keepers" in my book.

I'd love to have one... maybe I'll sell Peavey HP Special to fund one?

+1 I thought Mario's chlorine was the best looking PC1-love the contrast between the blue and the natural mahogany and then I saw busdriver's vintage solar. There's some incredible craftsmanship on these guitars!
