Soon after the JCF was created, the administrators were working on a project with Jackson guitars that would be a JCF-only collectors series. This was known as the JCF-YCE, or Jackson/Charvel Forum Yearly Collectors Edition. The original plan was to have 50 guitars made; 25 would have special JCF serial numbers, and the other 25 would have custom shop serials and be distributed throughout the Jackson dealerships for public sale. It was later determined that the prodcution number would be limited to the JCF 25. JCF members had the opportunity to reserve a serial number that they would have the option to continue to receive as the series lived on. There were many other intricasies that aren't all that important anymore as the series was ended after the second run. This section of JCFOnline.com has been established to showcase the two guitars that were made under the JCF-YCE series.
