Ok, here is my USA jackson that was came from the Ontario factory as I'm in Canada Alberta. I'm thinking of getting rid of this some day and would appricate any comments on how much you think I could get for this. It has a few nicks and dings - been giged over the years. Thanks!

You do realize it was Ontario, CA... as in California. Not CA and in Canada.

Also - in your previous thread, I think the bidding was up to about $293.

I'd say around $800 - $900. It'd be worth more if it was the Ontario Canada version

Except for the decals, it looks in good shape. I'm no expert, but I'd say about the same as DonP, 8 or 9 hundred.

Those stickers need to get the hell out of there.
Otherwise it looks like a genuine Canadian Soloist to me.

Knock off another couple hundred for that string tree thingy that will piss off any Jackson purist.

Actually it looks like electrical tape to keep the strings from ringing.

Still ghey, and I'd take off at least $50 for taping down the strings.

Am I th only one that would like a better pic of the bridge? It looks like the baseplate is actually resting on the cavity lip, and that´s not good.... IIRC the ´96 models should have OFRs stock, but this just looks a bit wonky... could be the pic angle, too, though

Well folks thanks for you help. I'd been a jackson owner for 13 years but finally sold this axe on Friday - no jacksons anymore. Got more for it than what was recommended in this thread, (despite the unpopular home made string tree
) but I think that's fair because here in canada, MI "Canada" axes tend to go for more money. She was a good axe and was a screamer that's for sure. Just was time to move on I guess. No regrets. Thanks! |

Yet....
I had a 1972 Black LP Custom. Hated the frets (fretless wonder), but it sounded great. Sold it. Regret it. Went to GC and tried a 1972 LP Custom. Still hate the low frets. Still regret it. Solution: Don't sell anything no matter how much I hate it. |
