I did not think it was possible to design/manufacture a tube amp cheaper than the Marshalls they're already making...

Nice.

Hopefully, this will force down the price of old 900's so I can pick one up on the cheap.

In the description it says they have an ECC83/EL34 pre and power amp combo, ive never heard of ECC83s being used in larger amps like these.

It's funny, they just released the Haze series and now they are competing with themselves....

Speculation over on the Marshall forum is that they'll be priced in between the MG/Haze range and the DSL... so figure in the 1200 range.

They are probably made with all of the cheap parts like the MG with low quality Celestion speakers like the MG's and made in India like the Haze or in Korea/China.

Well, then I guess you're not their target audience.

Good thing these are not the Marshall Forums. My buddy got banned from the Marshall forums for stating that he would never purchase one because they were made in India.

I was looking VERY forward to the Haze amp but when I finally got to try it out I was extremely disappointed. I couldn't get a good tone dialed in on it. I played an MG series amp that was right beside it and it blew it away IMO. I'm hoping this amp will be different.
