  • Is this guitar a legit early 80s strat-head?

    Here's a link... for $1200 doesn't that seem kinda low? I know it's a "plain" graphic but I thought these went for upwards of $3k if all original. This one looks original...

        He's had that on ebay for a while. He admits its a full refin. The price has been going down pretty steadily.

                      The guitar was black before the re-fin. I also seem to remember that while it is rear routed for electronics, at some point years ago, someone had added a decorative pickguard to the front, leaving 8 pickguard screw holes.

                          Guess it never hurts to ask first... I like the paint too as this is pretty much my favorite guitar ever:
