  • The ultimate delay pedal...

Most delay pedals suck in front of an amp, but this one can be used in front or in the loop. The price is not so cool, though!

Mad Professor pedals generally have a great reputation although I don't own one myself. I'm about to try the Eventide Timefactor and Modfactor pedals up front with my Bogner. We'll see how that goes. I'm expecting good stuff from Eventide! I want to see if these will sound better than the G-Major through its loop which I currently use.

The Eventide stuff looks interesting, too.

The DL-4 was a cool pedal. I had that and the MM-4 modulation pedal for awhile. I used it mainly in the loops of my old Mesa F-30 or Marshall Valvestate. I'm looking for something now that works good in front of my THD Univalve since it doesn't have a loop.

Mark just picked up a 100 dollar Analog Electro Harmonix pedal that he seems to think is pretty good, and he's picky. He sez it's pretty natural sounding. I'll check it out closer when he gets back from LA.

That has the "hight cut" switch doesn't it..to simulate a tape echo that warms up and smooths out your tone. I know the cheap Dan Electro ones do..they're not too shabby for the price...under a $100 bucks I think . I liked it better than my Boss DD3 and DD5s..and those are pretty nice ..but kinda...well, pretty digital sounding.

Not sure, it's pretty bare bones. I think high cut is just implied with analog haha...

                      Wow... $344.000 for a Boss DD-3
Some people will buy anything if it has a fancy write up.

Or you could add about $80.00 to that, and get the whole GT-10
processor! I would bet that it's got that same circuit in it?

Does a DD-3 sound good in front of a distorted amp, though?
