            Thanks.

It's a Bill Lawrence L-500 in the neck and a Seymour Duncan Distortion TB-6 in the bridge.

                      Yup.

Tried to make mine as close to Dave's original as possible.

                      The main differences are:

                      A. Dave's Kahler had brass saddles. Mine are steel.
                      B. Dave's has a very thin back shape for the neck. Mine is "standard".
                      C. Dave's has small/medium fretwire. Mine has extra jumbo.
                      D. Dave's has an 80's style Jackson logo. Mine is 90's style.
                      E. The headstock on Dave's was apparently damaged and repaired a few times which is why it has a unique look to it.

I considered getting brass saddles for the Kahler but they're $90 bucks. Didn't feel like spending that much on saddles lol.

My new one on order will have the thinner neck and smaller frets like the majority of the KV1's that came out. I'm still waiting for color samples though before I decide on the finish.

Looks awesome! Something weird though, look how far from the bridge the bridge pickup is. Looks at Brooke's pic above. The USA KV-1 has the pickup right next to the bridge, but on the pro, it's farther away like on the USA Custom. I wonder why the inconsistency in bridge PU location. My KV-1 has the bridge PU closer too.

                            Sleep!!, That's where I'm a viking!!
