  • Help on a Boss pedal (newbie)

ok, so I just bought a Boss Mega Distortion MD-2 pedal, so its my first analog pedal. I know that if I turn the distortion and boost knob all the way to max it gives a little feedback or interference. This is when i use the 9V battery, but when I connect it to a 9V eliminator this buzz becames really big, no matter if the guitar is connected or not, any help please

it has nothing to do with the battery. turn your knobs down untill the feedback is gone.

Do you mean when you use the power supply the hum gets worse? Power supplies can often add more noise which would cause the sound to get worse especially if you have the thing running on full settings.
