Had to talk to my rep to make sure it could be done, he went to the custom shop and yes it can. To say i'm stoked is an understatement!!!!

Horns up to Cannella and McD!

I wanted something so metal and exotic at the same time that this is what I came up with!

Thanks again to cannella and mcd for making this happen and thanks for the support to everyone at Jackson

    RD

if any of you photshop guru's could do a mockup... the specs are above, the custom shop generator doesnt have double rhoads with cutouts and I would love to see this badboy in a pohotoshop pic to save to my desktop!!!

3/4 inch maple top! Holy crap! That will be such an insane guitar when it's done!

When you decide it has to have a Floyd someday, can I have this one as they build your next Floyded version?

Sounds badass!! But why binding OVER the frets? Was never a big fan of it.

Very cool specs indeed - should be great
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

I won't lie, I was really looking forward to living vicariously through you and the CS cut king kelly. I do understand the switch.

That said, if you gotta play v's, those specs should prompt some messy screens and keyboards when you post the pics. Congrats RD.

I'm going to be putting a plan together soon for my "The Gambler" soloist. (Including figuring out how I'm going to pay for it.

                              Basically the spec is:

Mahogany body, 4mm Ebony top (like on some Blackmachine guitars). Maple neck (thru) and 24 fret 25.5 scale ebony fretboard. Abalone binding to body, neck and headstock.

Inlays: A, K, Q, J, 10 (Abalone), Spade, Heart, Club, diamond (Abalone edged black resin apart from hearts and diamond which will be red resin), metallic gold Jackson logo.
Actual cards fanned out behind the bridge (Royal flush), glued to the top and covered in very thin clear coat.

                              Gold hardware.
Gotoh GTC101 bridge. Sperzel tuners, graphite nut.
                              H - H (b- BKP Nailbomb n- BKP Cold Sweat)
3 way toggle, one knob (vol).
All men play on 10. Never gonna turn down again.
