• Thanks!

I just wanted to post a quick thanks to all of you who share your music with the rest of us.

I've just been digging through my JCF mp3 folder and realised I have something like 110 pieces in there, and I don't even save EVERYTHING that people post!

You folks who make that extra effort to put up your toonz have shared some amazing music and some outstanding playing, cool 'real' samples of equipment a lot of us could never afford and/or justify owning, and have provided great music that we'll probably (unfortunately) never find in our local music stores.

As I've typed this, I've just done listening to Annah's Fly, an amazing live solo from the incredible Neddi Stanz, Devane's brilliant Master's Slave, Chris Westfall's brilliant Shnoop and currently a very tasty solo from Newc over an old JCF backing track (geez, you like those unison bends, dontcha? ). As well as all sorts of other cool submissions for the various backing track things we used to do on the old JCF.

Just wanted to say how grateful I am to everyone for have the cajones to hang their sh!t out there, risk a slathering, and hopefully garner some praise for their efforts. And most importantly, I've got some rockin' new music that I could not get ANYWHERE ELSE.

Thanks again.
Hail yesterday

I want to thank everyone also. I think it is a great aid to improving my own playing.

Makes me see how far I have to go...

I second that Gary...great players on this board. damn...now I feel guilty. I haven't posted anything in a long time

Newc, thanks for the backing tracks..I'm trying to stay away from cover tunes and those are making it more difficult I thought about doing the Trooper because of all the harmony.

yeah, ditto the above... very nice DM... not much to be desired there!... hehehe.. I was listening to Opeth before your song and then I forgot that I wasn't listening to them anymore but your mp3...

Thanks everybody by the way...

I think this is the part of the board where we REALLY get down to business.... I mean I care about the guitar and the effects and all that stuff but that's not good if you dont know how to use it to put music together...

I owe you guys a bunch of mp3s... I start recording and then I get picky and delete... many, many potential posts have been lost to that!...

Re: Thanks!

I have many Mp3's from so many members here that I rarely listen to commercial stuff anymore and the fact that nearly everyone here smokes the so called new Guitar Gods. I frequently burn cd,s for people with nothing but JCF material and the response is overwhelmingly positive. Hope I didnt violate any of your copyrights though. . I find great inspiration from all of you. And a big Thank You is in order.
