        Charvel model 4 into a v-amp 2 into soundblaster live, recorded in cool edit pro 2.0

        Drums made with steinberg bbox groove machine

          I think you should throw a mixer in the middle to avoid saturating the sound card. I used to have this problem and I got rid of it that way.

          Also, if you buy an audiophile 2496 you will really sound like you have a professional studio at home.
