• Iced Earth - Solitude

This is my version of Iced Earth's instrumental song Solitude of their first album. Mine is different in a couple ways from Iced Earths. I was gonna do mine with this super crappy plastic acoustic/electric guitar I have, but if you heard what it sounded like played back you would probably smash it sounds so bad lol. Then I was gonna do the melodies with my Washburn 12 string with a Seymour Duncan Woody pick up but decided I don't feel like tuning it a half step lower right now. <------ Lazy!. So I did it all with electric guitar with some chorus stuff. Decided to use distortion on the melodies. I also put in some drums to help keep time. They are very, very simple but thats what drums are for! If I get bored enough I might do a whole version with my 12 string....maybe...lol.

The file worked fine for me, I really like the song, man. I unfortunately haven't heard Iced Earth's version of it yet, but it definitely has the Iced Earth feel to it. Sounds cool

Cheers,
Nick

Not bad at all. I say keep the electric leads. But the gutar under it should definitely be acoustic.
