Yeah, damn, it's like I'm learning a new scale or something... I had a melody going in my head but I couldn't quite do it on guitar... I'm working on it!

Ahh, it's in Bbm, not too shabby, I've played stuff in this key before.

Here are two of my versions...

members.cox.net/musicfiles/jcf4mix1
the one above has an auto wah, it's a podXT using the insane amp setting.

members.cox.net/musicfiles/jcf4mix2
this one is a Marshall Variac tone, with a tube screamer in front of it. This one and the one above have a slight chorus to spread it out in stereo. Also, both were recorded with my Archtop soloist pro in cherryburst.

Cool backing track! BTW, both of my tracks are one take, full o' clams... the first one, you can hear me kinda 'thump' the strings before I really start playing. hehehe!

Here's mine! Just finished it. I need to get to bed now... wake up at 6:40am for school. I'm no shredder by any means, so I decided to do what I do best, and that is to express my sense of melody and emotion in precise notes and bends. In other words, I suck at playing leads! Been a while since I did any of these. I like this one, DM - very melodic in nature but leaves room for a pinch of speed

Hey, I've kind of been in the "shadows" LOL... I've just had a lot of homework and no time to record.. but I'm still practicing the usual 5 or so hours every day lol but I'm just too mentally exhausted to record right now .. lol... I'll give it a shot tomorrow though.

I'm not going to listen to anyones 'til after I'm done!
