  • The Dark Song

    I've posted this before, but now it's a little closer to being finished. The first minute or so the lead just follows the melody so hang with it. The last two minutes I like to call "gratuitous noodling".

        Thanks for the feedback. My gear is as follows:

        '87 Hamer USA Chaparral
        '86 Charvel Model 4
        Fender Mexican P-Bass
        POD 2.0
        Alesis SR-16 drum machine
        Recorded on Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro.
        Guitar tone is 2 tracks of the Soldano model and 1 track Marshall/Brit Hi-Gain

        My wife thought the riff sounded dark, hence the name...

            Great Job!!!

            I think it's important that breakdowning your MP's (ie equipment, tabs) is very usefull for both the beginner and seasoned guitarist.
