• Open tunings - advanced question

Ok, for you advanced types, what open tuning best compliments standard tuning?
I'm sitting here with my Dano 12 string and I dropped the 7-12 strings down a 3rd (low E2 is now B, etc) and am getting some interesting tones, especially when playing C and G chords. E is kinda freaky, but F sounds nice as well

Anyhoo, I thought about tuning the 7-12 strings to an open tuning, but would like to know, from a Theoretical standpoint, which open tuning would fit with standard Major chords in Standard tuning - if any?

Two come to my lil brain housing group

Open-D D A D F#A D (slide)
Open-E E B E G#B E (Allman Bros)
Open-G D G D G B D (stones)
Open-A E A E A C#E (haven't figured out what this is good for )

I don't really use them that much.....maybe drop D occasionally when I get hit with 80's nostalga
