  • Joe Satriani's Guitar Secrets

I picked this book up a little while ago, only had time to pick it up recently.

It is a book of his instructional columns from "Guitar for the practicing musician" quite a few years back.

It is a pretty good book. It has some warmups, speed practicing tips, and some theory all mixed together.

Has anyone else have this or used it?

yeahh i have it mate, lol i found it the other day in a box in the atic

mmmmmmm not bad stuff in there,i dont like his scale shapes a lot but some of those modal arps are kind of cool and shaped as they should be.

his funky chord voices are cool,as his open string harmonic map..very cool

the best one to get is frank gambale's tec books 1/2..shows you every thing you need once that is nailed its fun to play
