  • drop c tuning....

ok when i droped c tuned i noticed one thing..

i could get it to tune to drop c, but it matters how hard i push down the strings.

like if i pushed down a little bit (enough to get the not to sound fluid) it would be in tune.

you know, hitting the forth fret on the E string and tuning it to e on the forth. if i pushed harder, it would show that the tuning is off.

maybe its cuz i use a software program? im not sure how its supposed to be.

You'll probably need to move the saddle back a little bit for the lower tuning for it to intonate a little better. Also, what gauge strings are you using? I use 11-48 on my one guitar tuned to D and sometimes do Drop-C.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
