  • Wiring Bridge Humbucker bypassing the tone knob

I want to rewire my jackson dinky bridge pickup bypassing the tone knob. Do I just need to move the ground wires from the tone pot to the volume pot?

Yeah you are in the wrong one Tech Q&A is where it should be . Take the ground ( from the volume pot)and wire it to the ground of the output jack ,than the middle lug on the volume control is the hot wire that to the remaining connection on your output jack. Just remove the connection on the volume pot that go to the tone control .

I don't what to remove the 2 singles coils from the tone just the humbucker, so I don't think that will work for me. HSS config. all the pickup grounds are on the tone pot, can't I just move the ground of the humbucker from the tone to the volume?
