• 80' Music Emporium Catalog (pics)

Dug out some old Music Emporium catalogs last night thought everybody might enjoy. In the second pic, guitars 1 and 2 actually have the Charvel name on the headstock. Pic 2 is from the 87' catalog and pic 3 I believe is from a 86' catalog, the cover is gone. Interesting to look through these old catalogs and see prices on everything from Les Pauls to Marshalls.

<font color="yellow">I remember looking at those old catalogs!!

Remember the early/mid 80's Carvin flyers?? At the time, I thought the Carvin V-220 was the shiznit

Also, I have like a early 80's Guitar Buyers Guide....it's a riot to look through it and see the prices then compared to now, also the values of some of the guitars.

It doesn't seem like prices have changed much in the last 18 years.

Yeah - I'm surprised at how expensive they were back then...

Go ahead, give FMIC reasons to raise prices now.

I can see it now: Summer NAMM 2006, Statement from FMIC - "After years of being partners with heavy music and metal guitars players, FMIC is announcing a moderate price increase of 40% retail price across the board for all Jackson guitars. As it was recently publicized on the JCF, Jackson guitar pricing has been mostly stagnant through the late 80's and 90's. This moderate price increase will help Jackson catch up with the recent spike in Charvel prices.
After the recent acquisition of Jackson/Charvel by FMIC, we feel this two brands must start contributing to our overhead and the large retirment settlement our aging CEO just got.
We look forward for your Business"
