• What's the difference btw a RRxxxx and a Uxxxx RR1

I see on the serial number page, some RR1's got an RRxxxx serial number, but other RR1's get a Uxxxxx serial number. What's the difference?

IIRC,the UO serial #s began in the early 90's,the RR #s were used on the 80's San Dimas & some Ontario Rhoads!!

RRxxxx can help you grow wings and fly away .

Seriously, it's just the different serial numbers Jackson used between 80s-early 90s, the Rhoads had RRs and eventually switched to UO.

RR = Custom
U = USA Select production

Just to clarify, "Custom" also includes all pre 1990 USA Rhoads, where each guitar was officially still a one off
