• 1994 USA Jackson JJ1 (JZB1?)

I bought a 1994 Jackson Junior (was told it was a JZB1) of of Ebay and its a great guitar. It is basically a Les Paul Junior without being any less than a Jackson. It has no labels on the pickups so I ordered a demon for the bridge and a Jazz for the neck, but when I got the guitar, I pulled the stock p/us out and low and behold a Duncan Distortion and a 59...
The guitar has a baseball bat for a neck and a rosewood fretboard with MOTO dots.

I would like to change out the neck but Jackson won't sell me a new neck for it.
Does any body have suggestions about getting a new neck for the thing. The neck I want at Warmoth is like 200 bucks but I dont know what kind of quality I can expect.
Any suggestions would be apreciated. I will post some pics if I need to, but I am on my laptop right now so I can.
The serial number is JJ0048 so it looks like it was made in the first run in 1994.

Thanks
Nicholas

I'm pretty sure the JZB1 was a Jazz bass...
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

I didnt think that sounded right. The serial number chart states Jackson Junior so I guess its a JJ1

I think its rather easy to make the difference between a Jazz Bass and a JJ guitar

WooOOOoo I was right about that guitar by the way

I didnt mean that, I had never heard of a JZB1 and didnt think the JJ1 was offered any way other than the Scott Ian models... thats why I didnt have a Clue...
I bought it off Ebay from Guitar Center in Atlanta, the person I talk to said he was Jackson freek like me and thats why I didnt question him...
how were you right about the pups? Did you talk to me about them, or someone that was trying to gather info for me (BlackLabel X from the Megadeth Boards)?

BlackLabel actually asked a question about your guitar one month ago. So I was right saying it was a JJ1 or a pre JJ1. But i was wrong about the pups since I thouhgt it was a pair of sh4/sh2.

[edit]Do i express myself that bad in English btw?[/edit]

Sweet, thanks man...

The DD in there sounds great, but the 59 is a little bright for my taste, prolly gonna put a Jazz in there...

I had bought a Demon to put there, but I think the DD is a good fit and the harmonics are VERY strong. So I am gonna leave that one. Dont know what I am gonna do with the demon though, all my others are alder and I have been told that the Demon does sound very good in that type of wood...

The JZB1 is your JJ1/pre JJ1.
There used to be a JZB2
