• Grover Jackson Guitar (not Jackson, but Grover ..?

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this line of guitars? I have found them on line in Japan selling used for between 1300 and 1600 dollars american...but have only found two in the US - 1. a blue one on jcguitars.com and this one, which I purchased on ebay and now is forsale at www.cowtownguitars.com...! What is the 411 on these?

In Japan, there is a company owns the rights to use Jackson name so Jackson guitars had to change the name to sell guitar over there.
I've heard it is a company selling fishing goods or one of the guitar stores that owns the rights..
That ended up as Grover Jackson and now as Jackson Stars.
Most of them were made in Japan but some top of line guitars were made in U.S.

So, you purchased it, and now you want to sell it, is that correct?

I wonder how many emails they've gotten on the GMPs since this thread started?

Yes, I purchased it and loved the way it played and the way it sounded, but I have a lot of guitars and I don't like "small bodied" guitars, ala the Dinky body shapes....They feel like toys and not like guitars....I recently purchased what looks like a 550 for my 13 year old daughter to play...but

Read all the GMP related threads on JCF.
You will know what he meant to say.
