Only made in 1991 that is 132 of 150(I think that is all they made). It is the top of line Japanese made Jackson. It is the Archtop Limited soloist.I believe the specs are Mahogany body and neck?(maybe maple) Pao ferro board , flame maple top , abalone/MOP inlays and Schaller floyd. They are fairly hard to find in US.I would say it would go for around $1200-1500 US in really nice shape. If I found one I would by it instantly no questions ask if no major damage was found.

Ah, japanese.. I should have known by the fingerboard eh! It looks pretty tidy.Any idea on the pickups? Are they worthy or would you swap them out with 81's or something?

you should've known by the "Professional" on the headstock. There have been US models with rosewood fretboards, but no US model ever came with "Professional" on the headstock. That's not regular rosewood either - it's Pau Ferro. That's a beautifully appointed guitar, and I'm just very glad that I'm too broke to be tempted by such a beauty

I've never tried (or heard) Reflex pickups, but I believe they were offered as an upgrade at the time. Not that that tells you anything about how they sound, but I guess Jackson figured they were a step up from the house pickups.

Weren't Reflex pickups a UK made EMG equivilent?
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Correct...I personally found them warmer but noisier than EMGs 81s

Re: Professional Soloist Ltd Ed.

I have all the info you need on my drive somewhere. Used to have a simple website dedicated to this series.I'll dig it up and upload again.
If you can get your hands on this guitar, I really really need to know how the electronics are wired. Several close up photos would be excellent. Trying to put mine back to original and the electronics are confusing.
Reflex (UK) pickups were a 200 list price upgrade.. like emg
The model is 'Silver Series' to be precise.
