  • Refinished Charvel Pro Mod SD1...

    Here is my Charvel SD1 refinished in Red/Yellow Bengal. I wanted this finish because it's different from the usual bengal finishes, and it's a finish Lynch had on a guitar from the Under Lock and Key tour from 1985. I think it turned out great! A local guy who refinishes guitars and paints motorcycles and airplanes did this for me. I played it Friday night at our Halloween show. It got rave reviews, lol.

              Awesome. Was it Lynch's Kramer that you were going for, like the one in video for "The Hunter"? Looks great.

                      Yeah, I didn't think about that, but I think you're right. I remember that guitar now. What I gave the artist was a picture I found of Lynch in his stage clothes holding that guitar and it had a Kramer headstock. I also had a pic of a guitar that GMW did in that finish, and those are what he worked off of. As far as price goes, it wasn't bad at all. He did it for me for $300.
