Just tell her, "Hey honey, I've just spent $2500 on another guitar that I absolutely don't need!" She'll understand. Women are good that way.

That's about a 20-minute drive from me. It's hard not to buy it every time I go in there.

            Very cool features:

            - recessed pickguard flush with the body
            - maple neck with ebony skunk stripe
            - matching headstock color

            Nice!

Gorgeous, but sounds like you are in the same situation as me and my wife would kill me if I bought ANYTHING right now, much less a $2500 axe. :/ I sometimes envy those whose wives understand GAS.

                      I'd offer them $1,899.00

                      Recessed pickguard = less wood.

It's got the recessed tremolo and the recessed neck plate, too... That's a lot of recess going on.

And you know what comes before recess? Lunch, at least in 4th grade it does.

And you know how much that lunch costs? $3.

                        What comes after $3? $4.

Based on that, I'd offer them $4. :dunno:

How about those of us without wives? We don't have to worry about any of this "hide the axe from the wife" shenanigans!

That is a Rand - neck through mahogany King V - there's probably a bunch of threads, try in Guitars by other search "Rand Guitars"

BTW that is the guitar that is getting the Iommi pickup I fought so hard to get
